About this site

When I received my journalism degree in 1994, I had a lot of naive notions about the way the world worked. As a young newspaper reporter I rapidly became disgusted with the business of politics and the media’s increasing failure to report actual news and walked away from my career.

My husband, who has been known to go by @fnord, started Liberty Lost in 2001 after the Patriot Act was passed and U.S. civil liberties began to erode. The 2010 Citizens United decision saw the U.S. Supreme Court assigning the same rights to corporations as voters, setting the stage for a corrupt government bought and paid for by the wealthy and powerful.

That corruption has spanned multiple administrations and is not partisan. If that wasn’t already clear, the Epstein Files make it obvious. The FBI has been collecting intelligence about global abuse, corruption and assault since 1996. That means six presidential administrations have failed to act on this intelligence.

This site has sat dormant for far too long. Complacency, laziness and greed have brought human civilization to a critical juncture. This isn’t a partisan or political issue. The lives of too many people on Planet Earth have been horribly impacted by a tiny elite cabal of disgusting criminals that hold too much wealth and too much power. And we the people of the USA are losing our civil liberties on a daily basis.

The Epstein Files have confirmed our worst nightmares about the way the world works. Is any segment of society immune from the corruption? Governments, banks, scientists, technologists, lawyers, entertainment industry bigwigs.

This website will strive to collate important information about global fallout, repercussions and justice. We also hope it will be a safe space to share ideas and work on building a better world.
